Kerala Ayurveda USA’s Apothecary is part of Kerala Ayurveda Limited, a full-spectrum Ayurvedic company with a 75-year operating record spanning academies, products, research, clinics, hospitals and resorts.

What began as an apothecary on the banks of the Periyar River has expanded into the most awarded Ayurvedic company, offering an extensive line of highly efficient and safe remedies for health seekers and practitioners.

Kerala Ayurveda was founded in 1945 by the Ayurveda Acharya Vaidyan KGK Panicker (Kollasseril Govindan Kunju Panicker), in Aluva, Kochi, Kerala, India. His mission was to promote the rich tradition of Ayurveda through high quality products and services to humanity. Inspired by the traditional recipes and natural ingredients, he developed new Ayurvedic remedies with proprietary names to address the contemporary needs of his health seekers. He also introduced the concept of a nursing home, or in-patient facility, for Ayurvedic detoxification programs known as Panchakarma.

After the passing of KGK Panicker in 1973, his eldest son, Dr. (Vaidya) Anil Kumar, carried on the family legacy. Also a third generation Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Anil spearheaded the entrance of Kerala Ayurveda into the mainstream Ayurvedic industry as well as its wide footprint as the full spectrum, most awarded Ayurvedic company.

In 2006, Kerala Ayurveda opened its first U.S. doors in Seattle, Washington, eventually relocating to the Bay Area of California. After over a decade offering authentic wellness services and education, Kerala Ayurveda is proud to now introduce a robust line of items in our Apothecary sector to the U.S. and Canada.
